If there’s one Walt Disney World attraction that redefined what a coaster could be, it’s Space Mountain.
Space Mountain remains a classic, even at 50

If there’s one Walt Disney World attraction that redefined what a coaster could be, it’s Space Mountain.

With a host of recently opened attractions and experiences – and more on the horizon – 2024 is sure to be a year like no other at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. “New” extends to practically every corner of the world with new and returning nighttime spectaculars, stage shows and character appearances, resort expansions, seasonal festivals and special events.

A new E-Ticket attraction at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom will not open for the park’s 50th anniversary, according to a report.

Forty years after its debut in the Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress remains one of the most endearing rides.

One of Walt Disney World’s most beloved attractions turned 40 years old this month.
I thought of a question: If I could only experience one attraction in each of the Magic Kingdom’s seven lands, what would they be? Main Street: Main Street Vehicles (the trolley or the fire engine) Tomorrowland: Space Mountain Fantasyland: it’s a small world (strictly for the nostalgia, if nothing else)…
Walt Disney World is itself a classic. Generation after generation has grown up walking right down the middle of Main Street U.S.A., roamin’ the Wild West and waltzing with storybook characters in Fantasyland.
Would-be Walt Disney World guests beware. The resort is planning to close Space Mountain for much of 2009 to refurbish the ride.
Located outside the perimeter of the Walt Disney World Railroad, Space Mountain has been whisking space travelers across the galaxy since it first appeared in Walt Disney World in 1975.
